C+ Vision
A unique concept in Switzerland that uses lens implants to correct visual defects, particularly after cataract surgery.
Clear vision after cataract surgery
Short-term appointments
Rapid healing process
Advantages of C+Vision
This service offers patients undergoing crystalline lens surgery the promise of a daily life free of glasses, following surgery such as cataract surgery.
Thanks to measurements taken with state-of-the-art equipment, we can determine the type and power of the implant that will free you from your glasses.
By combining in a single service two disciplines in which we are leaders in Switzerland: cataract surgery and refractive surgery. If the results of cataract surgery are less than optimal, we refine the correction obtained with a Femto-Lasik procedure (refractive surgery).
Sight enhancement
C+ Vision restores clear vision by replacing the opacified natural crystalline lens.
Less dependence on glasses
Reduces or eliminates the need for prescription glasses after cataract surgery
Long-lasting results
Long-lasting visual correction for decades, with no need for replacement.
Customizable options
Customized correction of refractive errors such as astigmatism and presbyopia
Versatile and suitable for almost everyone
All visual defects are eligible for this type of method:
Myopia
Astigmatism
Presbyopia

C+ Vision : A Unique Innovation in Switzerland for Cataract and Refractive Surgery
C+ Vision is an exclusive concept in Switzerland, the result of advanced expertise in refractive and lens surgery. This revolutionary approach aims to maximize independence from glasses after lens surgery, particularly cataract surgery.
Using cutting-edge equipment, we precisely determine the type and power of the ideal intraocular implant to effectively correct your vision and reduce your dependence on corrective lenses.
How is cataract surgery performed?
Cataract surgery is a quick, painless and very common procedure. It involves removing the cloudy lens and replacing it with a clear intraocular implant perfectly suited to your vision. The procedure takes around 15 minutes per eye, and is performed under local anaesthetic. Visual recovery is rapid, and patients often regain clear vision the very next day.
A combined approach for optimized vision
Our method combines two complementary techniques:
✅ Cataract surgery to restore lens transparency
✅ Refractive surgery (Femto-Lasik) to refine correction and optimize vision.
Who can benefit from C+ Vision?
This solution is adapted to all visual disorders:
🔹Myopia
🔹Astigmatism
🔹Hyperopia
🔹Presbyopia

"The operation was very quick and painless. The result was immediate, my vision was just a little hazy but I could see clearly. The very next day, the “haze” was gone and I could already see like with my glasses! I would recommend." - Mélanie
Cataract surgery itself takes between 15 and 30 minutes. However, it takes around 60 minutes from the time you arrive until you are admitted to the operating room, to allow time for the pupil dilation drops to take effect. After the operation, we'll serve you a snack and remind you of the post-operative instructions. Please allow 1h30 to 2h00 at the ambulatory surgery center for the entire procedure.
When you arrive in the operating room, your eye has already been anesthetized. There is no pain to worry about. At most, you'll feel a slight pinching sensation when your surgeon places a small retractor to hold your eye open for the operation, or when he moistens your eye during the procedure.
Besides C+Vision, standard cataract surgery does not free you from wearing glasses. Today, however, it can also be considered as genuine refractive surgery, providing the opportunity for a “new lease on life” by eliminating the need for distance glasses, reading glasses or wearing glasses at all. Santé Vision offers you this opportunity with a choice of implants to correct pre-existing vision defects, and its unique C+ Vision service in Switzerland.
Cataract surgery is billed according to TarMed and reimbursed by your compulsory health insurance (LAMal), less the deductible you have chosen and the co-payment (10% of costs).
Mandatory health insurance covers the cost of a standard implant. If you wish to take advantage of this operation to correct a pre-existing visual defect and free yourself from your glasses by fitting a specific implant, you will be asked to pay a surcharge. Depending on the implant and the technique used, this surcharge can vary from CHF 200 to CHF 2,500 per eye.
