What is SMILE PRO?
SMILE PRO: The Revolution in Refractive Surgery
SMILE PRO is the latest advancement in refractive surgery, offering an innovative alternative to Femto-LASIK. This cutting-edge technique, exclusively offered by Santé Vision in French-speaking Switzerland, simultaneously corrects:
✅ Myopia
✅ Hyperopia
✅ Astigmatism
How does SMILE PRO work?
Using femtosecond laser technology, SMILE PRO alters the curvature of the cornea by creating a thin lenticule inside it, which is then removed through a micro-incision.
Advantages of SMILE PRO with the Visumax 800 laser
The major innovation of the Visumax 800 laser allows the procedure to be completed in just 10 seconds, compared to 30 seconds with previous technologies. This time-saving enhances patient comfort while ensuring more precise results and even faster recovery.
At Santé Vision, we offer you the latest advancements in refractive surgery to provide you with perfect vision, without glasses or contact lenses!
"The procedure was very quick and not very painful. The result was immediate; my vision was a little blurry, but I could see clearly. The very next day, the "blur" was gone, and I could already see as well as I did with my glasses! I recommend it." - Mélanie

Do you have any questions or would you simply like to find out more about the treatment?
The laser treatment, meaning the separation of the lenticule, takes only 11 seconds. Our doctors usually need less than 4 minutes per eye for the entire procedure.
As the cornea is adjusted for optimal vision after the procedure, the result is permanent. However, the treatment does not protect against new vision problems such as presbyopia. A refractive lens exchange can correct faulty vision at an older age.
Healing sometimes takes only a few hours or days, after which you will reach your full visual capacity and be able to see clearly.
Laser refractive surgery with SMILE Pro is designed to be particularly gentle on the eye. It relies on a micro-incision of just a few millimeters, which better preserves the corneal surface and keeps the tear film more stable. Thanks to this innovative approach, the risk of dry eyes after the procedure is significantly reduced
